Rattletrap: A Custom 5.9L 12V Twin Turbo Cummins Diesel Jeep JK!
Project “Rattletrap” by Martin Barkey Racing Products (MBRP) spent nearly a year and a half building the ultimate Cummins Jeep.
This monster vehicle boasts a Twin Turbo 5.9-Liter 12-Valve Cummins engine in a JK body rolling on 44×19.5 Pit Bull Rocker Tires.
The Frame and suspension were both designed and built by Jason At kat Kustoms in New Knoxville, OH.
At an estimated 500+ Horsepower with 1000+ ft-lbs of Torque, Rattletrap will be giving you plenty of bragging rights; from its rugged exterior to its more luxurious interior options heads turn wherever Rattletrap goes.
From the dense forests and swamps in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada to the treacherous obstacle courses in Moab Utah and the tropical island of the Dominican Republic Rattletrap has proven itself to be a powerful unstoppable beast!
If you’re looking to start your own collection or add the finishing touches, Rattletrap is the piece to make it happen. This 2007 Jeep JK has had its body lengthened, frame stretched and widened to compensate for the powerful 6BT-12V Cummins. When you walk up to Rattletrap you will see her Sporting a customized roof; Rigid Industries lighting products 360 around the truck, River Raider tube fenders, Off Camber Fabrications Front stubby bumper package with a 9500lbs Ramsey winch and a fully Line-X body spray.
When you open the door to her customized interior you’ll notice four racing buckets with 5 point harness’s, full interior roll cage, onboard air, handgun lockable case under the steering wheel as well as shot gun holder in the back, onboard communication system by Rugged Radios and so much more.
Climb up, turn the key to start the 12V Cummins and you will feel how the name “Rattletrap” was developed. It’s raw rugged interior and 24 inches of travel makes this the ultimate Jeep. Wherever Rattletrap seems to venture a crowd will form. Most have only had the chance to see it in media or visualized in a video game but you, yes you could be the next proud owner of this iconic Jeep!
